Erin McMahon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor.
With a social work background, she has worked in community-based agencies providing care and support to parents and their children, as well as to women experiencing homelessness. From 2011-2021, she worked with the YWCA of Helena helping to pioneer the WINGS program that provides safe housing and individual/group trauma-sensitive, co-occurring substance use disorder treatment to women. During this time, she earned her license in Addiction Counseling (2018) and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2019).
In 2022, she joined South Hills Psychotherapy in private practice providing individual counseling for older adolescents and adults challenged with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relational trauma, and addiction. She uses a person-centered, strength-based, and compassion-focused therapeutic approach.
